SJ Advisors Reports Findings Related to Rhode Island’s Moral Obligation on the 38 Studio Bonds

SJ Advisors completed its report on the 38 Studios Bonds for the Rhode Island General Assembly.  The Senate and the House Committee on Finance considered the report along with testimony by Steve Johnson and Linda Port in their decision whether to honor the state’s moral obligation on the bonds.  Here is a link to the report.  Based on interviews, ratings criteria, market data, and existing as well as planned debt issuance, SJ Advisors concluded that it would cost the state less in the long run to honor its moral obligation.
